This past weekend’s Ironman USA was a great success for many athletes, especially some Trigger Point Performance Therapy athletes. Hundreds of TP Therapy users from the pro-women in the Women’s National Championship, to the over two thousand age groupers competed in Lake Placid.
Linsey Corbin of Missoula, Montana (seen at right) ran her way into a 5th place finish of 10:04:19. Linsey posted a 3:10:18 marathon, the fastest run time in the professional women’s division. Trigger Point is proud to sponsor Linsey and help her with any Performance Therapy needs.
Also racing well in the women’s pro division was Australia’s Charlotte Paul with a 6th place time of 10:09:11. Charlotte battled back from stomach problems to jump from 7th to 6th place within the last 2 miles of the run. Charlotte uses her TP Therapy tools everyday to go after the Ultimate Six areas for injury treatment and performance enhancement.
The men’s age group champion, Alex Mroszczyk-McDonald, registered the fastest time of the weekend. Alex completed the 140.4-mile course in a blazing 09:16:02, including a 2:59:36 run. Alex is a member of the Timex Multisport Team. Team Timex uses Trigger Point Performance Therapy to stay healthy and consistently post amazing finishes amongst the best triathletes in the world.
